HARKER 12 3/8″ ANTIQUE PLATE – PLATTER Semi Porcelain BY HARKER POTTERY CO U.S.A. This is a RARE find.. 19th Century Semi Porcelain PLATE – PLATTER made by the HARKER POTTERY CO of EAST LIVERPOOL, OHIO.  BEAUTIFUL SOFT WORN PATINA. OLD condition.  YELLOW -Tan Background. LIGHT PINK Roses. SOME Gold Trim. WORN & FADED. There is a back-stamp that indicates that this is a Harker piece – Plate made by Harker Pottery. The ANTIQUE PLATE PLATTER measures about 12 3/8″  diameter. SOLD AS IS .  I believe this plate was intended to be a WHITE – tan background; however, this may possibly be  STAINS IN THE CRAZING.It has the ORIGINAL BOW AND ARROW Makers Mark from the 19th Century. Makers Mark always featured a Bow and Arrow, but this is their original one…you can see in the pic how clear and crisp the Bow and Arrow still is.PLEASE RESEARCH YOURSELF AS I CANNOT FIND THIS PATTERN.They were founded in the 1800s and continued until 1972. This mark actually dates to the 19th century and was their first one. Their bow and arrow marks have been revised over the years, but always feature an arrow of some sort and normally a bow too. SEMI PORCELAIN, with bow, and the feathered arrow piercing through the R of the word Porcelain. To the lower left of the feathers on the arrow are the initials HPC for Harker Pottery Co. There is crazing throughout – 2 chips on the back as well as 2″ crack. These flaws can be seen in the pictures. There is wear to the gold trim edge as well. This is truly a beautiful vintage plate that would look great on any dinner table or would even make for a great addition to your vintage Harker Pottery collection. In old used condition.
